Shalom's comments: I have tasted prosecco from over 50 different producers and I daresay that the Marchiori family has created the best prosecco by far. The bubbles in prosecco are usually larger than those found in champagne but the ones in this prosecco are very fine, giving you an almost creamy feeling. A wonderful bottle to celebrate with. Only 2 bottles available.
2014, Off-dry, 11.5%, 750ml
The grapes are grown over a calcareous marl and sandstone soil in the middle slopes between 220 to 360 metres above sea level. The gradient of the slopes are up to 60% and facing southeast, south, southwest and west. All the grapes were hand-harvested.
All the grapes were stored at low temperature on its skins for flavor extraction before starting the fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks for 50 days. Selected native yeast was used.
Light aromas of flowers and sweet citrus fruit. A beautifully- textured Prosecco with lively acidity to freshen the palate.
