2014, Dry, 12%, 750 ml
This wine has been fermented in stainless steel and has been through some skin-maceration for 6 hours. It is from the Fuchsmantel vineyard from the village of Durkheim, Germany. The grapes are from ungrafted vines going all the way back to the 1930s. A complex wine with many layers of citrus and stone-fruit aromas accompanied by mineral notes. Unfortunately the Daniel Aßmuth winery has ceased production due to economic hardship. Don't miss this chance to taste the fruit of a winemaker who dared to challenge conventions. Only 2 bottles available.
