2011, Sweet, 6.5%, 375ml
Grown on a steep-sloped grey slate soil similar to those found in some parts of the Mosel. Residual sugar 203.5 g/l, Acidity 14.2 g/l.
The nose has dried fruit sweetness with a focused array of characters. Although low in alcohol, it is an intense wine that is anything but shy. Only one left.
6 - 7°C, and then allowing the wine to warm up slowly so that with each temperature increase, a different cluster of aromas can be released.
Up To 15 years. Can be kept for up to about a week after opening.
Drink by itself after the main courses or with some honey-glazed ham, blue-cheese, sweet- and-sour dishes, and even buttered lobster.
