Rating: 15.5

Carsten Henn, writer and journalist in issue of Vinum, one of leading wine guides in Germany.

Mossel Chardonnay. Light and fresh. Lemons and limes on both nose and mouth. Medium acidity. Good finish. - Gavin (The Wine Taster)

Intense yellow, classy and complex flavors, good balance of acid and alcohol, creminess points towards long time fermentation on yeast. If aged in barrel, it was done very gently, as to not get the wood taste in the center. Long finish. I notice that a year ago I rated the same wine with only 3 stars. What has changed: one more year for the wine to age and I have grown fond of the Rinke way of making wine with unorthodox methods, minimal intervention and having worked in the vineyard for 2 days. - Dominik Schweizer
