In 2009, Piero attempted to do the first sparkling wine of Sardinia using the local grape of Vermentino. Bottle fermentated, 36 months lees aging.
Aromas of bread crust, almonds and hints of spring flowers. Texture is fine and the flavour is mineral with hints of stone fruit.
